Cicatrici
Cicatrici nasce dal bisogno di far luce su un evento che ha segnato profondamente la mia vita, e di cui, ironicamente, non ho alcun ricordo: l’incidente aereo che vede coinvolto mio padre il 10 agosto 1985. Il progetto si compone di documenti, testimonianze, fotografie e installazioni che ruotano attorno ad un’immagine mancante, quella del mio ricordo. In un viaggio nella memoria e nei suoi processi imperscrutabili, ritrovo i resti dell’aereo nel bosco: trattate come vere e proprie reliquie, si fanno occasione per ricucire ogni frammento.

Cicatrici takes shape from the need to enlight an event that profoundly marked my life, and of which, ironically, I have no memory: the plane crash involving my father on August 10, 1985. The project consists of documents, testimonies, photographs and installations that revolve around a missing image, that of my memory. On a journey through remembrances and its inscrutable processes, I find the plane’s wreckage in the woods: treated as real relics, they provide an opportunity to mend every fragment.
