ENG – a little poetic power to tell it to the world is a public performance in which a multitude of women read a hypertext made by verses from poems and novels by XX century female writers and poetesses, victims of psychic disorders. The hypertext is handled by an algorithm which shuffle the sentences each time differently, resurfacing the trauma of domestication and subjugation practices of the woman, against which the mind has rebelled. The performance becomes a space of redemption: an antibody fluidly occupied by many beings, challenging any form of normativity, regulation, management and control. This plurality of voices represents a collective corporeality that claims its right to a poetic power, which is, essentially, a political one.

ITA – a little poetic power to tell it to the world è una performance pubblica in cui una moltitudine di donne legge un ipertesto composto da versi di poesie e romanzi di scrittrici e poetesse del XX secolo, vittime di disturbi psichici. L’ipertesto è gestito da un algoritmo che rimescola le frasi ogni volta in modo diverso, facendo riemergere il trauma delle pratiche di addomesticamento e sottomissione, contro cui la mente femminile si è ribellata. La performance diventa uno spazio di redenzione: un anticorpo occupato fluidamente da molti esseri, sfidando ogni forma di normatività, regolamentazione, gestione e controllo. Questa pluralità di voci rappresenta una corporeità collettiva che rivendica il proprio diritto a un potere poetico, che è essenzialmente, un potere politico.
